We have a very exciting expansion agenda for the coming years, continuously investing in new opportunities. Both through organic optimization and M&A. In 2019 the two Swedish market leaders First Camp and Nordic Camping & Resorts was merged, taking the joint name First Camp, with a total revenue of 400 MSEK. In 2020 we entered the Danish market in full scale via acquisition of four new destinations, Hasmark Strand, Skovlund, Bogense City and Bøsøre Strand. Lakolk Strand was part of the chain since before, and Frigård is the latest addition in 2021 adding up to a total of six destinations in Denmark.
About the role
As the Marketing Specialist in Denmark, you will play a critical role in driving growth, profitability, and brand awareness for the chain. The current six destinations have strong local market presence, the next step is to reach out and build engagement and love for the brand First Camp.
Your main responsibility includes driving sales to the danish First Camp destinations via traffic and bookings both to the company website www.firstcamp.dk and also drop-in leisure guests as well as reaching B2B customers in the winter season. You will work within the commercial team in First Camp, where Group functions as Revenue Management, Brand development, our Contact Center and Website development sits at the support office in Sweden.
You will help to develop an ongoing plan for the content for all platforms in accordance with our strategy, our overall concepts and brand guidelines, annual cycles and campaigns, as well as manage and ensure planned execution. Including main responsibility of e.g.:
Your background
The ideal candidate is a results-driven and data driven marketer with proven quantitative and analytical skills and will have a combination of email marketing experience, statistical and visualization software products experience (quantitative tools), and project management skills. You also enjoy creating campaigns, are a good writer and have some experience with graphic design.
You should thrive in a chain-based company with high pace as well as able to work independently and be able to structure and dispose time and tasks. You are highly proactive & independent, always looking for ways to take initiative and improve existing ways of working and processes. And enjoy working with different departments and have a positive mindset
